Balance: scale for weighing; depends on pull of gravity
Watch Glass: a shallow glass dish used as an evaporating surface or to cover a beaker
Dropper: pipet consisting of a small tube with a vacuum bulb at one end for drawing liquid in and releasing it a drop at a time
Funnel: used to channel the flow of substances into a container with a small mouth
Wash Bottle: used in washing chemical materials
Test Tube: used for various procedures in chemistry and for the growth of bacterial or viral cultures
Test Tube Holder: designed to hold test tubes

Clay Triangle: used to hold a crucible while the crucible is heated
Buret Clamp: attaches to a ring stand to hold a single burette, test tube, flask, etc.
Pipet: used to measure or transfer precise volumes of a liquid by drawing the liquid up into the tube
Erlenmayer Flask: used to mix liquids by hand
Graduated Cylinder: used for measuring the volumes of liquids in a quantitative manner.
Stirring Rod: used to stir liquids in flasks or beakers
Spatula: used for folding, mixing, scraping and smoothing [substances]
Iron Ring: a tool used by wire-drawers
Rubber Stopper: used to seal test tubes and other types of glass to keep out airborne contaminents
Test Tube Rack: Holds tubes in rack for decanting and stability
Crucible Tongs: used to lift a hot crucible from a furnace
Utility Clamp: used to secure glassware and other equipment
Buret: used for titration
Beaker: a flatbottomed jar made of glass or plastic
Florence Flask: designed for uniform heating
Goggles: Protective eyewear
Forceps: used in delicate operations for grasping, holding firmly, or exerting traction

Wire Gauze: used in a safety lamp
Ring Stand: allows heating jewelry components from both the top and bottom during soldering or fusing

Evaporating Dish: used to heat and evaporate liquids
Mortar & Pestle: used to pulverize, or grind, herbs, spices, and other foods

Test Tube Brush: for cleaning small-diameter tubes

Crubiles: used to contain chemical compounds when heating them to very high temperatures]
